Our Mission

To eliminate India's blood shortage through youth mobilization, technology innovation, and donor empowerment - providing a 360° solution for blood accessibility.

Our Vision

An India where no life is lost due to blood unavailability, sustained by a culture of voluntary donations and efficient distribution systems.

Blood Point History

Our Story

Founded in 2017 by a group of passionate students, Blood Point began as a small initiative to address local blood shortages in Murshidabad, West Bengal.

Inspired by organizations like BloodConnect (founded by IIT Delhi students in 2010), we recognized that blood cannot be manufactured - it must be donated. This fundamental truth drives our work to bridge the gap between donors and recipients.

What started with just 5 volunteers has grown into a pan-India movement with over 10,000 active members across 15 states, saving more than 25,000 lives to date.
